In this workshop Ding Ding will teach you about the history and principles of Chinese calligraphy. You will learn how to hold the pen and practice the eight strokes. Ding Ding is a senior member of the UK Han Culture Association, leading performances and photographic projects centred on aspects of traditional Chinese Han culture. For the past six years, she has also been teaching Mandarin and Chinese culture to secondary school and adult students. Her day job is in marketing and communications in the educational sector.
